Beyond Limits Day Program opened it's doors to adults with Developmental & Intellectual Disabilities in September 2018.
We are located in Kanata, Ontario.
Our Special Education program offers a safe and healthy environment where our Clients can develop new and existing life, social and academic skills.
To enhance the lives of individuals by teaching the skills necessary to increase independence and make a valuable contribution to society.
To always promote positivity, to encourage our clients to be the best person they can be and to always advocate that their disability does not define who they are.
To provide our clients with a positive, safe and inclusionary environment. All activities will be age appropriate, meaningful, purposeful and person centred. This program is designed to engage clients through the teaching of essential life skills, continuing education, the exploration of vocational opportunity, to build community awareness and with the ultimate goal of increasing independence.

Person Centred Planning forms the basis of meeting our Clients needs. Literacy and numeracy programming is developed in accordance with the Client and Parent/Guardian goals.
Communication skills are taught by building an awareness of self and others. Clients are taught to recognize and control their emotions through social stories and role play.
Teaching essential skills for everyday living, including personal care, hygiene, home management, laundry, cooking, money, banking, budgeting, time management and vocational skills.
The main goal is to have fun and build friendships with peers through cooperative games and activities. Creative art projects, seasonal themes and drawing instruction are also offered. We are very fortunate to be in walking distance to many stores as well as the beautiful Trans Canada walking trail. We enjoy going for walks in our neighbourhood whenever possible.
Involves excursions, grocery shopping, trips to restaurants, cafés, bus training, exploring our neighbourhood and volunteering.
The respect and dignity of persons is a fundamental right and independence is always encouraged.
Spaces are currently available.
